Regional IT Infrastructure Manager (f/m)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a person to lead and develop IT infrastructure services across Eastern Europe including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- technology,
- business,
- people leadership and service management.
You will be responsible for the stability, security, and evolution of IT infrastructure across multiple countries, working in a truly international environment and closely collaborating with the Regional IT Director and corporate IT teams.
Leadership & Management:
- Lead, develop and mentor the regional IT Infrastructure team - IT Infrastructure engineers responsible for infrastructure, networking, systems and workplace services.
- Coordinate projects, priorities and daily operations,
- Collaborate closely with country management across the region,
- Manage vendors, subcontractors and service providers,
- Ensure effective cooperation between regional and corporate IT teams,
- Apply agile principles to project and service delivery.
- Define and execute the regional IT infrastructure strategy,
- Design and deploy standardized infrastructure services,
- Ensure compliance with global policies, security and governance,
- Balance business needs, technology and security,
- Communicate progress and decisions to stakeholders.
- Ensure availability, performance and security of IT services,
- Oversee incident, problem, change and request management,
- Monitor and mitigate infrastructure risks,
- Support critical incidents and complex issue resolution,
- Ensure service quality and positive user experience across the region.
Technologies you’ll work with: Microsoft Azure / Azure‑HCI, Hyper‑V, Windows Servers & Active Directory, Intune, SQL, Fortigate, Hybrid on‑prem and cloud environments.
REQUIREMENTS
- We are looking a person with strong technical foundations who enjoys leading people and delivering high‑quality IT services.
- Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure environments,
- Experience leading and coordinating teams (including distributed teams),
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, virtualization and cloud platforms,
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL),
- Solid project and time‑management skills,
- Experience working with IT budgets, vendors and cost optimization,
- Fluent English (daily working language),
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes within the region.
Nice to have:
- Experience in regional or international IT roles,
- Knowledge of additional languages from the region,
- Experience with infrastructure modernization or cloud transformation projects.
